Last weekend, we all went up to PA to celebrate Mom-Mom’s upcoming 80th birthday. We got to Rusty and Cheryl’s right around lunchtime on Saturday and the party was already about to get underway. You can read more about the road trip up here. Since the plan was to surprise Mom-Mom at a lunch cruise onboard the Spirit of Philadelphia on Sunday, they didn’t get to join in on the Saturday fun. Let’s just say we all needed a warm-up party before the big event. And there were a few final preparations that needed to be completed. Like MM’s fabulous daisy cake!
Rusty went all out for the occasion, with live music and a cornhole tourney! This one-man band was great! He had back-up music to accompany him and played a little bit of it all, from Grateful Dead to Zac Brown Band. A good time is sure to be had anytime there’s live music around!
