Jackson & Tate

My friend Brandy brought Tate over on Friday to have a little playdate with Jackson. Tate and Jackson are only 11 days apart (right Brandy?) so they are both at a great age to play together! They had a ball!! It was such a warm day, so we let them play for a while in the sand and water table. And let me just tell you, they had sand (and water) everywhere! They were both soakin' wet and covered in sand!

Of course an afternoon w/ almost 2 year olds wasn't without incident. As we were heading into the backyard, Tate took a tumble down the deck steps that looked really scary. He ended up with a bump on his noggin' and a few scratches, but he was okay. Thank goodness! He was tough though! After just a couple of minutes he was right back at it! Check him and Jackson out on the Gator. Jackson was driving from the passenger's seat. When you really don't do much steering anyway, I guess it doesn't matter which seat you ride in!

When it was time to come inside for a snack, Brandy and me just stripped them down to their diapers and sprayed their clothes out with the hose. There was sand everywhere!

They played even harder once we got inside!!

Aren't they just cuties?!?

I think the best part of the day had to be the good-bye hug! They were both so sweet!!
